BYU Introduces Azerbaijani 101 Course

Khazar Ibrahim, Azerbaijan ambassador to the United States, congratulated BYU on January 17, 2023 for being the first university in the US to offer Azerbaijani 101 as a course. Ibrahim announced that his country will provide scholarships for students to travel to Azerbaijan to enhance their understanding of the language and culture.
