Biography
Brandon Rogers is an assistant professor of Hispanic linguistics. Brandon grew up in Los Angeles, CA (Tujunga). He got his PhD in Hispanic linguistics (2016) from the University of Minnesota. Previously he taught linguistics and Spanish language at Ball State University and linguistics and translation at Texas Tech University. His academic interests are sociolinguistics/sociophonetics, language contact, prosody, indigenous languages. and phonetics/phonology primarily in Chile and Peru.
