Biography

Heather Willson Sturman’s research is primarily devoted to the Marshallese language. The majority of her published articles focus on the syntax of the language, although recently she led a group of students on a research trip to the Marshall Islands in order to study the acquisition of the sounds of Marshallese by second language speakers. She is also currently developing a corpus of the Marshallese language.
