Biography
I earned a PhD in English from Texas Tech University and an MA in English and Creative Writing from Ohio University. I earned a BA in English with honors from BYU and spent a year teaching English in Japan. My first book, "My Wife Wants You to Know I'm Happily Married," was published by University of Nebraska Press in 2015. My essays have appeared in The Writer's Chronicle, the 2012 Norton Reader, American Literary Review, Florida Review, The Normal School, Dialogue, Sport Literate and elsewhere.
