Biography
Dr. Sherman received a BA in Public Relations and in Spanish Literature at Brigham Young University (1985). He later earned an MA in Spanish Culture and Literature from BYU (1987). He received his PhD in Spanish Literature and Culture from the University of Virginia (1990). He has been at BYU since 1999. Dr. Sherman has directed several study abroad programs to Spain, including Spring and Fall programs in Madrid/Alcalá de Henares and the Camino de Santiago trek. He grew up in Arizona and served the Chile Santiago South Mission.
