Biography
Marc Yamada received a BA in Japanese and International Relations and a MA in Comparative Studies from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Japanese Literature & Culture from UC Berkeley. Marc has published articles on modern Japanese literature, film, and manga and a book on Japan’s Heisei Period: Locating Heisei in Japanese Fiction & Film: the Historical Imagination of the Lost Decades (Routledge, 2019)
