As a teacher, I try to be a guide, a coach, a facilitator, and a provider of encouragement. I want my students to experience mind-blowing “a-ha” moments when they discover something about language that they never knew before. I want them to be able to take the tools I equip them with and continue to build their knowledge and contribute to the fields of linguistics, English language, and teaching English as a second language.
