Biography
Steve Moody received an MA and Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an MA in Economics from The Ohio State University. His interests are in sociolinguistics and intercultural communication, focusing on how foreigners use linguistic and cultural capital to manage identities in workplace and other professional settings. His research uses qualitative (discourse and conversation analysis) and quantitative (applied statistics and corpus-based) methods.
