Raised in Denton, TX. My musical upbringing and love of Russian composers influenced my decision to pursue the study of Russian as a freshman at BYU. Married Emily Barrett in 1995 and am a father of four children: Andrew, Hannah, Christian, and Sofia. Aside from music and Russian, I have a deep and abiding love of horses and farming.
